Meet
Our Doctor
Lawrence
P. Smith, D.D.S. has been creating beautiful smiles and practicing
the art of cosmetic and restorative dentistry in Oak Park since 1984,
succeeding his uncle, Dr. Harry Brown, whose practice was established in
1947. Dr. Smith is a 1984 graduate from the University of Michigan
School of Dentistry.
To
ensure his patients the highest quality of care possible and the latest
techniques Dr. Smith has pursued advanced education courses earning over
1800 credit hours and has also received additional advanced training
from the
LD Pankey Institute
and The Dawson
Center.
Dr.
Smith is a member of numerous professional organizations including the
American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago
Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Endodontic
Society, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Equilibration
Society.
Dr.
Smith has also been actively involved in the development and testing of
new technological equipment including Radiovisiography (Computerized
X-rays) He has been active in community organizations serving as
President of the Oak Park Lions Club.
Dr.
Smith resides in Elmhurst with his wife, Corinne and two children, Bryan
and Brittany.
